Temperature for a Chicken in a Crock Pot?
7 lb. chicken has been in for 4 hrs.. Inside temp is 190F Book says 6 hrs. Do you think it’s done?

The book could be right but you may have to check your chicken after 5 hours. Make sure there is enough water in the crock pot and you are there to turn it off, unless it has an automatic turn off switch.
I mistakenly left mine and came back home to find the whole thing evaporated including the chicken. There was grease everywhere. I never lived that one down. Never again! lol

Well cut it and see. If it is pink it is not done if the meat is all white it is done. I have made a few dishes in the crockpot with chicken, most say ccook on low 9-10 hours or high 6-8. But most imp. check to be sure no pink is showing.

Nooo you must do it at 1º for 50 million hours

chicken is done at 180f.
