How to Make Moist, Tender Chicken in a Slow Cooker?

I’ve just started putting my new slow cooker to use and I’m also very new to cooking. I figured a slow cooker was pretty foolproof and a good way to build my cooking confidence. But anyway, I’ve made chicken dishes in it several times and I feel like the chicken always comes out on the dry side… not inedible, but I’d really like it to come out moist and juicy. Any tips? Is there a preferred way to cook it, like 5-6 hours on low versus 3 hours on high? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
