How Long to Cook Chicken in Crock Pot?

I found a recipe for bone in/skin on chicken breast with cream of mushroom soup cooked in a crock pot, so I decided to make it this morning. It said to cook for 8 hours on high, but I missed the "high" part and put it on low (that was 2 hours ago). It seems that high would be too hot for 8 hours, so now I don’t know if I should turn it up, or keep it on low. Any help? Also, the recipe calls for four chicken breasts, but I had just a split breast.

Here’s the recipe:

Crock pot
4 bone in with skin chicken breasts, washed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. white wine
Black pepper

Add to crock pot soup, water, and wine. Stir until blended. Pepper chicken to taste. Place chicken, bone side up, meat down into liquid. Crock pot on high for 7 to 8 hours. Tender and ready to eat when you get home. Makes 4 servings.
